Facing the Giants!!!

My mom suggested that I watch this movie to feel motivated and encouraged. I am a little (oh OK a lot) nervous about the upcoming interview season. I know that fear is a tool of the devil to keep us from following God's path for us and being great and successful. I am determined that I will not fear the future or the unknown. I know that I am a child of God and that God a plan for me. I am not in charge (as hard as that is for me to accept) and I am loved beyond measure. These are where I am and coming to grips with the rest (finding a job, being a SAHM, family pressures and squabbles) are all secondary and I am going to do my part. There is a parable in the movie about two farmers needing rain and praying for God to send rain. One farmer in addition to praying was doing his part and preparing his land for rain. I want to be like that farmer and till my land in preparation for all that God has in store for me. Also, the movie talks about being ready for the opportunities that God presents us. I am open and ready for all that is in store for me and our family.Posted by Picasa

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
