Look at that face! He is really upset with me because he thinks I make him do too much homework. Yes, I know he is only in Kindergarten but I don't want him to lose traction in this school system. Utah has the same problems faced by the rest of the country of classroom overcrowding and low national test scores. So, I am determined that until we move to the East coast that I will supplement his education. Therefore I am taking on the role of Mom-Educator. Noah hates it and I feel really bad. But he only spends half a day in Kindergarten, where he has a lot of coloring projects (yes, I understand the importance of coloring and how it can help his education but coloring everyday come on). So every night, he works on his Hooked-on-Phonics, writing his letter and numbers, learning to tell time, or learning basic math skills. We are in the process of setting up our family plan for learning Spanish, so I predict that we will all have a similar face;) since I am still working on my MPH and Jason starts his PhD in January. :)
