We spent a week in DC/Baltimore to interview for Residency positions as well as get a feel for the area and visit friends. It was fun, exhausting, and exciting. It was great to be out of Utah for a while and to experience diversity again. I don't think either one of us (Jason nor I) realized how much we missed diversity. We got to see a lot and do a lot (probably a little too much)! A few cute and quick stories.....
One night out while in downtown Baltimore we decided to stop for some dinner. We didn't see any real family friendly restaurants (what were we thinking anyway!). So we decided to try Chris Ruth's Steakhouse, never been there but seen it in Nashville. We didn't realize how family unfriendly they were until we got inside. We decided to stay and eat anyway.....Well the boys did great. We got them to make a hamburger and fries and they ate them. We had no major incidents i.e. no food on the floor, no tripping the waiters, no wasting the drinks....it was GREAT! I was so PROUD of the boys.
After learning about Abraham Lincoln, Noah told everyone he met that he got to meet the President....ha ha ha.
We walked a really long way down the National Mall. Nathan got tired on the way back and didn't want to walk. He neglected to tell us about his accident (he really is doing well on potty training but only so much can be done during outside excursions). So his daddy had to carry him on his neck while he was stinky....glad it wasn't me.
On our final night in town, we went out to dinner with some friends. Nathan was tired but doing his best to behave. Finally, he just gave up the ghost...he put his head down on the table and put the napkin over his head. His way of letting us know it was time to go.
We took plenty of travel time in the mini-van (don't get too excited, my husband has not talked me into a mini-van... I am way too cool for that!) learning the various areas and neighborhoods. We got a little mis-placed and ended up downtown Baltimore. They have 24-hour surveillance camera. I didn't really like those and it didn't make me feel safer in those area.
Overall, we had a great trip and can't wait to go back to the area (prayerfully)!

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.
Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Daddy in Uniform
Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.
Family pic before Nic

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
Don't go to work Daddy!
Noah and Nathan enjoy some time with Daddy before he heads off to work.
