Today is Nathan's Birthday! We choose the day before Valentines Day instead of Valentine's Day for his birth so that he wouldn't feel pressure as a young man to give gifts on his birthday. He was very excited and woke up singing..."Happy Birthday to Me". We gave him a party at his Pre-School, just some cupcakes, juice boxes, hats and party favors. He loved it. I love when they are so easy to please! The class had fun and he had a blast.
Just so that Dad could join in the festivities, we had cupcakes after dinner. Which explains the bedtime clothes. He got his card and his gifts. Amazingly, throughout the day he forgot about gifts and never asked for anything. Which is not surprising from a kid who asked for a candycane for Christmas. Anyway, if he is not tired. I am tired enough for everyone. It was a good day!!!
