Thanks Mom and Dad!!

Thanks Mom and Dad!!!
These are the flowers that my parents sent to me.

So, I need to express a deep gratitude and love to my parents. They were the ones who started me down this path. When I was a little girl my mother used to tell me that I could do anything. She kept hinting that meant that I could be a doctor. She often told me that I should become a doctor. Mama introduced me to Ben Carson, an African-American neurosurgeon and his book Gifted Hands. I took this book to heart and decided that I wanted to be a neurosurgeon. My Mom supported me to the point that she even brought home the idea of me attending Tougaloo College because of it's reputation for sending African-American students onto medical and graduate school.

They started me on this path and we are now moving onto the next stage.

Thanks Mama and Daddy!!
