Marathon (ok, Half-Marathon) Story

So we did it. Jason ran the SLC half marathon in 2 hrs 12 min and I walked it in 3hrs and 27 mins. We both did pretty good. My goal was to finish it (ha ha ) and to be under 4hrs. I was pacing at about 16 min mile (which for me is great because I practice for a 2min mile). Jason did the first 6 miles in 42 min (AWESOME).
We got up at about 4:30am and dropped the boys off at a friends and picked up our friend Don for the race. It was very exciting and I really had a good time. I don't have any pictures of us during the race (yet)! But it was a great experience and I am going to continue walking and even start preparing for a 10K in October in D.C. ! Whew... what am I getting myself into!!

Jason before the race!!! Isn't he adorable in his running gear!

Me in my racing shirt! I earned this!!

The boys at 4:30 in the morning on race day!

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Daddy in Uniform
Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
