Our Weekend House-hunting marathon

So this past weekend, we(Jason, Nic and I) went house hunting in Maryland. It was a 3 day house-hunting marathon. We got there at 1am on Thursday morning and we were out on the prowl at 9am that same morning. We had a very interesting realtor story. Our original realtor was out of town (at her sons wedding), so we were passed off to her mentee and partner. Yep you read right. We worked with 3 different Realtors in as many days. At first we balked, but everything came together. It is very true that the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". We were almost pampered, but I digress. We saw about 15 houses the first day. Some were good, some were awful and some were on our short list. The picture of Nic below is after a full day of house-hunting. He just wanted to lounge. We say 4 of the 5 houses on our short list on Thursday.
We got a chance to experience some uniquely Northeast activities. We went to Phillip's and Sons to eat crab(I am not a big fan). Hence, I was not overly thrilled, but Nic loved the rolls as you can see. We also got a chance to go to B'More's South Harbor. It was great and we had a good time. On Friday, we widened our search just a little and saw about 9 houses. We made our short list of 5 houses and mad plans to see them all again on Sat and to make an offer.
Our number one choice is so great. It is a ranch style house with over 2500 sq feet. The back yard is a kids paradise with a playhouse (with electricity), a rock wall, two slides, and several swings. There is also a 2 story storage shed....whoo hooo I have found my scrapboooking haven. Not to mention a large dining room, living room and master suite. For Jason's pleasure there is a two car garage and a huge deck. So everyone gets a little something. We got a chance to meet the previous owners and some of the neighbors (which worked to our benefit). The elementary schools is 1.2 miles away, there is a daycare around the corner. There is also public tranist (MARC) close by. It is just so perfect for us. We are going to have to update the bathrooms and some carpet. But I watch HGTV so that should be doable.
Nic chillin at the hotel.

Just a little day-dreaming about our dream boat.

That house sounds AWESOME! I hope you can post pics sometime. I can't wait to see. I have recently gotten addicted to HGTV, too.

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
