Granny and PawPaw's trip to DC

1. Nic at the WWII memorial 2 and 3. Nurses Memorial statue 4. Soldiers memorial statue 5. Lincoln Memorial bldg 6. Lincoln Memorial statue 7. Family at Lincoln statue 8. Korean statues 9. White House 10-11. Family in front of White House 12. Taking a rest 13. Ford's Theater

The family sans me, went to visit the DC monuments and tourist sites. I have to explain that this is a long walk and not for the faint of heart. The first time we wen to see the monuments, Nathan has a tantrum and refused to walk back to the Metro. The second time they all made it through and by the last time with my mother they were masters at the walk. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Dartavious. I understand his complaints but apparently the humor of the situation was lost on him. He fell out

This time, they did the whole shabang in one day. Pretty impressive!! They started off in front of the Smithsonian and walked down to the Washington monument, next the World War II memorial, then the Vietnam Veteran's wall, to the the Lincoln Memorial, next to the Korean War memorial. The then headed to catch a glimpse of the White house and then go see the Ford's Theater. All in all, they had a wondrously busy and eventful sight seeing day.

This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.
