Jason participated in the annual Army Ten-Miler race. This is one of the best known ten mile runs in the world. He has been working towards this for a while and interested in running in the race for years. He let us know about the run. We as a family are going to go and see the sights (not run) on the course. Jason tells such great stories. He of course has a great one for this event. It involves a new mentor and his fraternity. I will let him tell the rest:
As told by Jason--During the run, Iran into a mentor Col. Jones. He ran with me for the entire course. We got a chance to talk (a little). He had much to say and plenty of advice during the run. After a few miles he broke out with his Kappa shirt. He told me to wear my Alpha shirt the next time. He also told me not to run too close because he didn't want his Kappa Bruh's to see him running with me. Around mile 8, Col Jones became a motivator for Jason.
