Our Camping Trip

This is a long post about a great trip.
Be prepared to read and laugh out loud.

For a while now Jason has been talking about going on a family camping trip. So he finally convinced me that we should go. My only stipulation was that we have a cabin because I did not want to sleep on the ground. So he arranged everything and off a-camping we went.

The boys were so excited and talk about nothing else on the way up except for TEKKEN (that's another story). On the way up Jason tell me that his leg is still hurting despite the recent antibiotic. We get to the camp site, which is great. The boys are loving it. We get the car unpacked and put up the tent. Jason decides (with a little gentle prodding from his physician wife) to go to the ER for his leg.

Jason said he could put up the tent in 20 minutes. He succeeded in 20 minutes (+ another 15). Then headed out to the local ER. So guess what I got to do. I spent the night in the tent with the little ones. I couldn't let them sleep out there alone and they didn't want to sleep in the cabin. It was all going fine until....I woke up to rain. It was fine for a couple of hours, but when I woke up again there was a bit of a puddle. So I just moved the boys over and went back to sleep. When Jason made it back to camp, it was an all out storm. Jason fixed the tent in the storm and it was the best beginning of a great camping trip.

This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.
