So part of Noah's requirements for the Boy Scouts is to go on a family hike. We decided to do double duty with our trip in NYC and take a long walk (i.e. hike) to Central Park. We started out at the Port Authority on 42nd Street and walked down 5th Avenue (my favorite part of the trip) into Central Park. In Central Park we went to the Zoo (arrived to late to see the animals) and got a chance to see play around in the park on the rock formations.
Rockefeller Center
We were confused about which to see Rockefeller Center or Empire State Building. We ultimately decided on the Top of the Rock. We went up to the 76th floor and got a great view of the city. The boys were excited to see all of the city and get a few great shots of them with the Empire State Building.
Hard Rock Cafe
Jason has been in love with the Hard Rock Cafe for years. He has visited quite a few and wanted to make NYC HRC a check mark on his bucket list. The food was good and the atmosphere and company was excellent.
