Time..slow down!!!

I can't believe that my baby is almost a decade old!! Time...slow down please! Looking at this beautiful young man I still see my first baby! I remember the first time I held him. I can still remember taking him on nightly car rides to get him to sleep. I can still remember the long nights of medical school and watching him sleep while I studied. My baby is growing up and I want time to stand still. He still loves super heroes of all types.... he is currently into Thor, the X-men, and Captain America. He is so intelligent that I am daily reminded that I prayed for a smart child (little did I know that God was laughing at that prayer! and gave me just what I asked for with this one!). He has a strong sense of self and fairness! He is so helpful that I worry about others taking advantage of his kind heart. He is an only child in an older brother skin. I just can't believe it! Time....pretty please, slow down!!
