Busy Weekend

Nic's birthday has been a busy weekend for us the last two years. We typically try to have a family birthday party and then have some activities. This year was no different! We did a lot this weekend! We had a great time going to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial. The statue was so awesome and the wonderful saying on the wall was very inspiring. It was a great opportunity to get about civil rights, freedom and equality.

Next, we spent a day in Downtown Baltimore watching the Inaugural Grand Prix. All I can say is "Huuh, what did you say?". It was so loud, but my middle child just call him Sleepy Smurf managed to get a good nap in during the race. It was pretty cool to watch real race cars on the streets of a big city. But again, it was so L O U D!!!!

My little man is growing up!! I can't believe that Nic is already 4 years old! The time is moving so quickly. He is currently in love with all things Super Hero! His favorite is Captain America! But he also likes the Angry Birds and when we found a church member who makes awesome cakes, we just had to give it a try! The cake was definitely the highlight of the small family based party (we still have the birds) and his big beautiful small says it all!

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.
