Day #5

We are now on Day 5 of Nic's life. It is going great and things are on track. I am back at home and well-rested (except for the hours of 11 pm -5 am). The boys (all 4 of them) are adjusting to each other and having a good time spending time with each other. We are all enjoying Granny and Pop and love having them around to enjoy. So no real complaints,...except the constant fatigue, the incisional pain, the swelling of my hands and feet and the nipple soreness (oops too much information!).

I have so much stuff to do I don't know where to start. I am still enrolled in two Master's levels classes (biostats...ugh and social, behavioral and psych sciences of public health....what does that mean? Beats me!). I am rewriting/revamping my personal statement for the Match, and I am working as Campus Rep program coordinator for the Journal of Minority Medical students.

It is great to have Jason at home and I don't want to even think about him going back to work. He will be in Colorado on Thursday, we'll see how that goes. Granny and Pop are going to be here for another week (THANK YOU JESUS!!!). I can't imagine doing this on my own and really pay tribute to single moms. Whew....!!!

This is day 5 of the rest of our lives as a family of 5.

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
