National Museum of Natural History

Before things got to busy and too crazy with the New Year taking full swing. We decided to take the boys to one of our national treasures (plus they were bored with being inside). So we took the metro to the Smithsonian and visited the Museum of Natural History (or as Noah likes to call it the "Night at the Museum place"). Overall, everything was nice, no big crowds (it averaged om the 40's), nice exhibits, and lots of things to see and touch. We all had our favorites and we all had a good time.

Nic's favorite part was the ride home! We had him wrapped tight and he fell asleep on the way home after all the excitement.
Jason being the earth loving environmentalist really enjoyed all the ocean and earth displays. I think this one was his favorite. It even caught the attention of the boys who sat on the floor for 10 minutes to watch and listen to the display. I finally got a couple of good pictures ** the ball was stationary with 360 degree projection that looked like the earth was moving....very cool****!

Yeah, so I am definitely a girl. I enjoyed looking at the Hope Diamond and all the different types of semi-precious jewels in the gem section!

Nate was mesmerized by the water displays. He really enjoys watching the fish and was actually still for a minute to enjoy the fish tanks.

Noah had a bunch of favorite displays. He knew a lot about the dinosaurs thanks to his competition with his cousin Dartavious. He was fairly knowledgeable about the cavemen although he had some interesting insights into why they are not around anymore, and he really like the National Geographic photo contest winners display.
All in all, we had a good time and it was fun to take the boys to the Mall and non-tourist and newly minted Residents.

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.

Nicholas is actually in this picture in a way, I am about 6 months pregnant. These pictures were to get a snapshot of our family before our last child was born.
