Merry Christmas

Yep, we brought the Southern Christmas traditions up here to Maryland. We fried a turkey and had all the fixings for our home cooked Christmas dinner. I even got up early and made coffee and Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Just trying to be the next Martha Stewart (not really).
We had a good, quiet and low-key Christmas morning this year. The boys let us sleep in a little (they got up around 7:45am). The gift opening was fun and the boys pretty much got what they wanted with some little hiccups. Jason and I kept it simple between us and just enjoyed the family time together.

For the past couple of years, we have tried to start some new ornament traditions for the boys. We all get one new Christmas ornament that represent current interest for the year. It was fund watching what the boys picked...Noah got the Super Hero Squad,....Nate picked a comic book (what a surprise!)....Nic picked the Super Hero kid with the airplane (his new passion). Jason got a fishing ornament and I got the Princes and the Frog ornament.

Little funny story: If you notice in the pictures, Jason is holding a monkey toy. Think about Toy Story 3, One of Jason 's colleagues gave him the monkey because often he wants to take the cymbals and bang somebodies head between then. I'm just saying...I thought it was pretty funny and very helpful.

Beautiful Utah

Beautiful Utah
This is just one of the beautiful views we have in Tooele, Utah. It is so amazing seeing the mountains everyday. When I look at the mountains, I can only think God is amazing.

Waiting for Nicholas
Since we have been iin Utah, I have been waiting on my last child. One of the first rooms that was completed was Nic's room. I can't wait for his arrival and I can't believe how close we are to seeing his beautiful face.

Jason always looks so good in his uniform. It has been 9 years in and he still looks like a 2nd LT.
